Over the past 40 years, Homero has gained vast experience in the Wireline Services business. Having worked in various locations worldwide, including South America, the Middle East, and Europe, he has acquired a unique set of skills and knowledge that is highly sought after within the energy industry. Specializing in product line management, training, and service support, he has been responsible for developing several wireline logging services that companies now use worldwide. A true professional with an easygoing demeanor, he is someone people are drawn to for his wealth of knowledge and sage advice.
The most relevant achievements in his career are his ability to work in various oilfield environments and management of the development and commercialization of Deployment Risk Management Technologies and several wireline logging services, such as EARTH Imager, Geo Explorer, Ultrasonic Explorer, PowerCOR MaxCOR and Well Geometry Instrument.
Plinio has more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his career as a Junior Field Engineer and worked to become the Product Line Sales and Commercial Director for the North America Offshore region – Wireline Services at Baker Hughes. Before joining Baker Hughes, Plinio worked for PDVSA, the Venezuelan National Oil Company. Throughout his career, he has held various positions in Technical Sales, Commercial, and Operations, demonstrating sales growth in competitive US and international markets.
Plinio holds a master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Simón Bolívar University.
